We are proud to announce that the film “Shall we dance?” by Magnus Clausen (from TTC), Søren Aagaard, Peter Larsen and Jørgen Michaelsen will be screened at this years Berlinale 2010.

‘Shall We Dance?’ is an intriguing investigation of the word dance. The film consists of a voice-over text and a collection of different visual narrations whose mutual arrangement seem to adapt to the spoken words. Combining the humoristic with a bone-dry seriousness, the film displays a sequence of peculiar snapshots, whose compositions and connotations reveal a choreography, in which the dancer is absent. Between documentary and fiction the film slides off the dance floor and asks a more universal question:

“How Can We Know the Dancer from the Dance?” Yeats

‘Shall We Dance?’ is a suggestive and captivating collaborative project with the four Danish artists Søren Aagaard, Magnus Clausen, Peter Larsen and Jørgen Michaelsen.
